New Organization, PEO Digital, is set to incorporate newer, more efficient and innovative techniques to pre-existing Battle Management programs that will positively impact the USAF as a whole.

The primary objective for PEO Digital seems to be taking successful elements already in place, such as Project Kessel Run, and enabling them to grow continuously better, faster and more effective for the Air Force, rather than becoming obsolete.

Dr. Will Roper, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, explained to USAF Public affairs, "We have to shift from thinking of software development from being a product to being a service. In today's world, you need to modify code if you're still fighting with it. The longer your code sits stationary, the more dormant it is. We have to get quality code for both the taxpayer and the warfighter."
