Camarillo is a city in Ventura County, California with a current population of 66,000 people. The city is named for the Camarillo brothers, Adolfo and Juan, who were early settlers in the area. Camarillo was incorporated in 1964 and soon began building planned communities. The temperate climate of the area makes the city an attractive location for those relocating to the area.
