San Bernardino is a city located in San Bernardino County, California. It is the 18th largest city in California with a population of 207,800. The city spans 81 square miles and was referred to by the indigenous tribes of the area as “The Valley of the Cupped Hand of God”. San Bernardino is one of the oldest communities in the State of California. The town’s downtown area is a historical district, and there are many restaurants and shops in the Hospitality Lane area of the city. Located just 28 miles from the NSWC Corona Division, the city of San Bernardino has a wide variety of theaters, art museums, and performing art centers which offer year-round productions and concerts.
