Kerman, formerly known as Collis, is a city located in Fresno County, California with a current population of 12,000 people. The town is located about 15 miles from Fresno and covers 2 square miles. The town was officially established in 1904 and then incorporated in 1946 which supplied a watering tank and pump for the railroad in the late 1800s.
