Keesler Air Force Base is a United States Air Force Base near Biloxi, Mississippi that is home to the Second Air Force and the 81st Training Wing. The wing is responsible for training airmen in technical skills after their completion of basic training. A specialty area of training is in meteorology for things such as weather analysis and air traffic control. Keesler offers one of the largest technical training wings in the Air Force. The base is also home to the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit which offers training for Navy and Marines.
