Gulfport is the second-largest city in Mississippi. The current population of the town is 71,000 people and is located just 14 miles from the Keesler Air Force Base. The town was flooded by Hurricane Katrina and suffered substantial damage but has rebounded and is rebuilding. Besides the Air Force Base, the town is home to the US Navy Seabees as well.
